The construction work on the level crossing in Neuhaus is far from complete.

Among other things, the road on the previous parking lot of the open-air museum is still missing.

This road is unlikely to be finished before the start of the season on Friday, April 8th.

Markus Wasmeier has to wait a few weeks until traffic at his open-air museum in Neuhaus returns to normal.

It is about the construction work around the level crossing that was not completed last year.

In addition to the creation of a left turn lane to the museum car park, these also include the relocation of Brunnbichl Street.

So far, this has flowed directly into the main road at the level crossing.

There was a risk that cars would drive past the closed barrier onto the level crossing.

Now the path leads over part of the previous car park to the new junction with the B 307. In return, a number of new parking spaces will be created in the north.

According to the leading railway company, the road construction work should be finished by the end of May.

Smaller remaining work follows.
