Onset of winter: Preparatory work for the construction of the B2 tunnel in Starnberg has been delayed

In Starnberg there will be traffic obstructions from Wednesday due to traffic safety measures for tunnel construction.

Starnberg - Due to the weather, the resumption of construction work on the northern inlet of the B2 tunnel in Starnberg has to be postponed.

But from Wednesday it will be tight on Starnberg's streets.

The road construction for the future northern access to the Starnberg Tunnel is entering the next phase with the conversion of Münchner Strasse.

Between the S-Bahn bridge and Uhdestraße near the Esso petrol station, the sidewalk area and the right-hand lane going out of town will be closed.

Nevertheless, two lanes in each direction remain on Münchner Straße (B2), with the inner lane being reduced to two meters wide.

According to the Weilheim State Building Authority, the start of the traffic phase will be postponed for two days.

On Wednesday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the construction site area and traffic safety will be set up.

The width of the inner lane in each direction is reduced to two meters.

Coming from the city center, neither Gautinger Strasse nor Uhdestrasse can be turned into.

Coming from the city, it is not possible to turn onto Uhdestraße.

Detour via Perchastraße

The diversion will be for Gautinger Strasse via Petersbrunner Strasse and for Uhdestrasse via Perchastrasse.

In addition, it is not possible to turn into Uhdestraße when coming from the city.

The detour will also take place via Perchastrasse.
