Syrian sports and the karate family lost the national coach and head of the national teams selection committee Khaldoun Zahreddine at the age of 52.
The late Zahreddine is considered one of the most important karate experiences in Syria. He previously worked as a coach for the national team, served as a member of the Karate Federation and chaired the technical committee for the game in Suwayda. He has great credit for developing its reality in the governorate and discovering many talents, qualifying them and presenting them to the national team.
The General Sports Federation, the Syrian Olympic Committee, the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in As-Suwayda and the Karate Federation mourned the late Zahreddine, whose funeral will be held tomorrow in the city of As-Suwayda.
