Products and works of micro-projects included in the exhibition (Ramadan Stories), which opened today in the hall of the Church of Jesus the King for the Capuchin Fathers, at the initiative of the Jana Sustainable Development Team.
The exhibition, which continues until the sixth of this month, will witness the participation of 22 women and young men, and it contains a variety of handicrafts such as accessories, embroideries, woolen clothes, detergents, creams and food products, in addition to dedicating part of it to display books issued by Linda Printing and Publishing House, as well as paintings by artist Ghassan Ezzi.
Father (Fadi Ziada), pastor of the Church and Monastery of Jesus the King for the Capuchin Fathers, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that facilities were provided to host the participants in the exhibition free of charge, based on the importance of supporting the owners of these businesses in these difficult circumstances and embodying human values, cooperation and solidarity among members of society.
For its part, the Jana Team Foundation for Sustainable Development in Sweida, lawyer Janet Abboud, stated in a similar statement that the exhibition comes within a series of exhibitions that the team holds periodically to be an outlet to support and introduce the work of micro-enterprises.
And the participant in the exhibition, Ghalia Nasr, pointed out that she presented the work of her project for the manufacture of gift boxes, in an attempt to leave an imprint and expand her work, as she is at the beginning of the road.
Both Rawan Hamza, who participated in cream products, and Ahed Jammoul with detergent products, found that the exhibition was an opportunity to introduce their products more, while Salwa Nofal indicated that her participation in sweets products and kitchen foods reflects the state of her home project, which she aspires to develop for the better.
