Further accidents are to be prevented: the municipality of Oberding has set up 30 km/h signs after a crash in Moosrain.
Oberding - The community didn't want to shout anything, but on Sunday a week ago there was a crash in the area of the street Am Moosrain in Oberding (we reported).
As Mayor Bernhard Mücke (CSU) reported in the municipal council, the municipality now had 30 km/h signs set up, as it had previously considered but not done on the advice of the police.
Am Moosrain road is currently being used as an alternative route due to the construction site on Moosstrasse.
As a result, there is significantly more traffic than usual, also more regional than usual. There is also a confusing curve in the area.
The signs are intended to ensure greater safety and prevent further accidents.
Meanwhile, an area of the Aufkirchen through road is blocked on one side due to construction work on a building.
In the area of the tight uphill curve, the speed limit is 30. He can hear the cars braking abruptly because of the construction site squeaking all the way home, said Mücke, who would prefer a traffic light solution.
But that's up to the District Attorney's Office.
