The state of Bremen is to be declared a hotspot because of the situation in the clinics according to the will of Health Senator Claudia Bernhard (left).

The Robert Koch Institute* (RKI) reported 252,530 new corona infections and 304 deaths this Friday.

In the last two Corona years, 2020 and 2021, the incidence only dropped significantly in April.

In 2020, a downward trend could already be seen at the beginning of April, in 2021 the values ​​did not fall until mid-April.

Now the peak of the fifth omicron wave would already have been reached at the end of March.

It remains to be seen whether the easing of the corona measures will fuel the infection process again.

The corona virus even surprised virologists Christian Drosten and Sandra Ciesek.

The two corona experts strongly recommend that risk patients in particular continue to wear an FFP2 mask.
