Ex-ski racer Martina Ertl loves her Bavarian homeland.
She now let her Instagram followers know – with a clear message.
Lenggries
– Many celebrities are drawn to the wide world, to big cities or even abroad after they become known.
But it's also nice when these famous personalities feel a deep connection to their homeland, even if it doesn't consist of the hustle and bustle of the city but of the stillness and beauty of nature.
This is obviously the case with Martina Ertl.
The 47-year-old former ski racer was born in Bad Tölz and then grew up in Lenggries.
Ertl continued to live in the tranquil community of 10,000 on the edge of the Bavarian Alps even during her marriage to the former triathlete and current specialist supplier of sporting goods Sven Renz.

The fact that the mother of two never left her homeland is probably because Ertl feels more than comfortable there.
Even after 47 years, she still appreciates the beauty of her homeland.
In an Instagram story, she shared her enthusiasm with her followers.
You can see a self-made photo collage of pictures that Ertl may have snapped on her last trip to the mountains at home.
In large red letters, Ertl wrote "Beautiful home" across the pictures.
The whole thing is underscored by a song by the British cuddly singer James Blunt: "You're beautiful".
A special declaration of love, then, to her Bavarian homeland and the mountains where the later Olympic, World and World Cup winner learned to ski.
Lenggries: Ex-ski racer Martina Ertl still lives in her old homeland - and loves it
Ertl still lives in Lenggries with her two children, daughter Romy-Sophia and son Luis.
Last October, the ex-ski star separated from her husband Sven after 15 years of marriage.
Until 2017, the two had a joint sportswear store on Brienner Straße at Munich's Odeonsplatz, which they gave up due to the focus on online trading.
So even more time for the 47-year-old to enjoy quality time in the mountains at home.

By the way: daughter Romy seems to have inherited her mother's talent.
In 2019 she made it into the top five at the German Student Cup for U12 drivers.
