How to remove and clean the washing machine drawer (TIKTOK)
Our cleaning equipment has a clear purpose: to remove dirt, but somehow they always remain dirty.
After all, who ever thought of sweeping his broom?
To wash his washing machine?
Or vacuum his vacuum cleaner?
(Except for Monica from "Friends" of course).
The ones that are seemingly most neglected are the washing machines.
However, even those who do take care of cleaning them inside and out probably did not know about a hidden place in the washing machine that contains dirt and mold at levels that will disgust you and drive any patient clean-minded.
It's good that we have the Queen of Cleanliness, Faith Earl, to keep our eyes open.
The "Queen" shared a post on the Facebook group "Tips and Tricks for Cleaning" in which she revealed that not only should the small drawer in which you put your fabric softener and washing powder be cleaned, but it can also be completely removed and the dirt that has accumulated behind it cleaned.
Many admitted in response to a post that not only did it not occur to them to pull the drawer out and clean what was behind it - they also forgot to clean the drawer itself.
Faith also shared what is the best way to clean up there.

Faith Earl admits that she herself did not know what was going on behind the drawer and did not know at all that it could be pulled out until she received a tip from a friend.
When she did and discovered the dirt, she started cleaning the area with hot water, detergent, a toothbrush and a cloth.
After a long scrub, Faith displayed the glittering result on Facebook and many were impressed.
In the post, Faith wrote: "How the hell did I not know that this drawer could be pulled out ?!".

The post had similar responses: "I had no idea you could pull the drawer out. I wanted to check it out," one reporter added: "They say you learn something new every day. Well, today I learned. Thank you."
There were also those who had difficulty pulling out the drawer, they were advised to press downwards in the center of the drawer, exactly where you put the softener, and then pull out gently.

Mirror reporter Emma Rosmorgy published a column on the method gaining momentum online, in which she wrote: "I decided to take a look at my washing machine drawer and let's say the results were a little appalling. "Hiding behind was a lot of mold and dirt."
In some of the washing machines you will find a button for removing the drawer:

She added: "I decided to soak the drawer itself in hot soap and water, before giving it a good scrub. The laundry compartment where the drawer is located was much harder to clean. I wasn't really sure how to deal with it, but I used boiling water, washing liquid and a toothbrush - And it certainly looks a lot more representative at the moment. "
She concluded: "It's pretty awful to think of all the mold sitting there in the machine whose whole job is to clean - but until someone invents a self-cleaning washing machine, let's spread the word about keeping this annoying drawer clean."
