Muhammad Kabha admitted that he committed the murder in revenge for the death of the terrorist Kamal Abu-Waar • He was convicted of intentionally causing death • Benjamin, Esther's husband: "The act hit us deeply and will leave a severe scar to the end of our days"

This morning, the military court in Salem, Samaria, will sentence Muhammad Kabha, the terrorist who murdered the late Esther Horgan in December 2020.

It will be recalled that Esther, 52, a resident of Tal Menashe in Samaria, married and a mother of six, went for a walk in the woods near the settlement, when Kabha spotted her, grabbed her and hit her on the head with a stone until she died.

During his interrogation, he admitted that he had committed the murder and claimed that it was as revenge for the death of his friend, the murderous terrorist Kamal Abu-Wa'ar, a few weeks earlier, in the Israeli prison.

Abu Wa'ar died of cancer, but the Palestinian Authority spread a false rumor that he had been killed by Israeli security forces.

Kabha was convicted of intentionally causing death (the equivalent of murder).

In arguments for punishment about three months ago, the military prosecution demanded that he be sentenced to life imprisonment.

The family members were accompanied at the trial by attorney Maurice Hirsch.

Esther's daughter, Odelia, said at the hearing: "His mother was a very special woman and when we left our lives were turned upside down, the world was shaken. Mother is no longer here in time of need, mother is no longer here in time of joy. There is life before and life after. ".

Benjamin, Esther's husband, also spoke at the hearing and said: "I am very sorry that only the murderer is sitting on the dock, but this murder was invited. Pushed him to come and do an act of revenge.

"His emissaries, and I mean the leaders of the Palestinian Authority, are paying him very large sums. How can we give a hand in this? The court should rule so that a worn-out penny does not come to the enjoyment of the terrorist or his family. Said Benjamin.
