The Pakistani army announced the killing of three terrorists in an armed clash in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan, last night.
The Chinese news agency, Xinhua, quoted the army as saying in a statement that the security forces, based on intelligence information about the presence of terrorists, carried out a security operation in the Deir Ismail Khan district in the province, and clashes took place between the two sides, resulting in the killing of three terrorists, and weapons and ammunition in the possession of the terrorists were confiscated.
The statement added that the dead terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against the security forces.
On the 25th of last month, the police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa announced the killing of a leader linked to the terrorist organization "ISIS" during a raid on his hideout in Peshawar, the provincial capital.
