Clashes at the Nablus Gate:
While many police officers acted tonight (Sunday) to allow the month of Ramadan to be celebrated and to reach the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount safely, riots began in the area.
Violators began throwing bottles and stones at the policemen.
Overt and covert police forces are currently operating at the scene, to remove instigators and rioters and have arrested at least three suspects for disturbing public order, throwing objects and stones at them and at passers-by.

Some with the intention of observation forces, and further arrests are expected later.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid toured the place and spoke with the commissioner. Following this, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry issued a strong condemnation of Lapid's arrival in the area.
