Within the activities of the Festival (Young Seniors.. Arts Bring Us Together), which is held by the Ministry of Education in all governorates, the Lattakia Education Directorate organized today sports and musical performances and an exhibition of artworks at Dar Al-Assad for Culture.
The Director of Lattakia Education, Imran Abu Khalil, stressed the importance of the festival, as it elicits children's talents at the level of sports, music, drawing and the arts, stressing that a jury of specialists will choose the best paintings and artworks participating in the festival to participate in a competition at the level of Syria.
Hanadi Youssef, a member of the Art Education Evaluation Committee, stated that the festival today was at the level of the city of Lattakia, after it was held in the Jableh region and its countryside, stressing its importance in discovering talents and raising the level of cooperation and competition among students.
In statements to SANA, teacher Namir Muhammad, a member of the evaluation committee, said, "Today, the works presented by the schools of Lattakia city were evaluated, and they included music, choir playing, folk arts, sports, drawing, handicrafts and recycling."
While Ragheb Nasra, a member of the evaluation committee, praised the idea of the festival and its role in showing students' talents.
Suhair Al-Hussein, a director at the Holy Land School, explained that their participation was through a technical paragraph on the importance of helping children with their peers with Down syndrome to integrate them into society, while Hala Habib, coordinator of the Young Seniors Festival for Aesthetic and Visual Art Education in Lattakia, noted the interaction of all schools to participate in the festival, which was an engine of energies. children.
The two participants, Afra Al-Khair and Ghina Muhammad, who play the qanun and the violin, expressed their happiness with their first participation in the festival, expressing their hope to participate in the competition at the level of Syria.
