U.S. President Joe Biden once again failed in his language when he yesterday (Sunday) called Michelle Obama, the wife of former President Barack Obama, "former U.S. Vice President."
The remarks were made at a ceremony on the USS Delaware.
Documentation of the embarrassing mistake went viral on social media, and later the White House circulated an edited version of the documentary in which the mistake was not heard.

In a speech, Biden said: "I am proud of my wife (Jill Biden, AG), for the work she is doing as president's wife, a work that began while Michelle Obama was vice president."
In addition to the video correction, the transcript provided by the White House to reporters read: "I am proud of my wife's work today. She started this work with Michelle Obama during the time I was Vice President."
Biden caused a stir last week when he delivered a speech during a visit to Warsaw, Poland, attacking the Russian invasion of Ukraine and even calling for the overthrow of President Vladimir Putin, a call that goes beyond any accepted diplomatic norm and is incompatible with NATO leaders.
"For God's sake, this man (Putin) can not stay in power," Biden said in a speech.
Later, the White House was quick to clarify his remarks: "The president did not intend to seek a change of regime in Russia."
