Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that the situation and fabrication in the city of Bucha in the Kyiv region is a provocation and represents a threat to international peace and security, pointing out that Russia has called on the UN Security Council to hold a session on the situation in Bucha.
Lavrov said during a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths in Moscow today that another fake and fabricated attack was launched and carried out in the city of Bucha in the Kyiv region, according to the western plan, after the Russian forces had left from there.
Lavrov noted that a theatrical performance was held in Bucha a few days later, and the fabrications were spread through all channels and social networks by Ukrainian actors and their Western sponsors.
Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense denied accusations that its forces had killed civilians in the city of Bucha in Kyiv province during the military operation that Moscow is conducting in Ukraine to protect the residents of Donbass, and said in a statement, "All the photos and videos published by the Kyiv regime, which allegedly indicate crimes by the Russian military. In Bucha, it is only a new provocation.”
