Man gets stuck in S-Bahn door with e-scooter - train starts

Huge shock at the S-Bahn station in Taufkirchen: early Sunday evening, a man got stuck in the S-Bahn door with his e-scooter.
Then she drove off.
On Sunday evening, an emergency call was received by the police operations center: At the Taufkirchen S-Bahn station, an e-scooter was lying on the track and one person was slightly injured.
According to the current state of investigation, a 29-year-old from Aßling wanted to leave the S-Bahn in Taufkirchen with his e-scooter.
When getting out, the doors closed and the man got stuck with his scooter.
Then the S-Bahn suddenly started.
With the help of a passer-by, the 29-year-old was able to free himself after about ten meters from the door.
His vehicle got stuck in the door.
At the end of the platform, the scooter hit a metal grate, broke in two and fell onto the track.
The man injured his knee and shoulder slightly and lost a shoe that was left on the S-Bahn.
The 28-year-old train driver did not notice the incident and was only informed about it at the next stop.
The S-Bahn was subsequently taken out of service.
Whether the accident is due to a technical defect or human error is currently the subject of investigations by the federal police.
