The employees of the old town pharmacy, the bee pharmacy and the Spitzweg pharmacy in the Miesbach Bräuwirtsaal took 24,000 swabs.

Now they have taken stock.

Miesbach – When the pharmacists packed their bags in the Miesbach Bräuwirtsaal in July 2021, even they probably didn't think that they would return there a few months later.

But at the beginning of December, they put their joint rapid test center back into operation due to the renewed increase in the number of corona infections.

This time, the offer lasted almost twice as long as in the summer at just under four months.

Last Thursday, March 31st, the testers cleared the field for the second time (we reported).

The employees of the Old City Pharmacy, the Bee Pharmacy and the Spitzweg Pharmacy took 24,000 swabs over a total period of six months and evaluated them within 15 minutes.

Especially in times of the 2G-Plus regulation, the antigen tests were in demand, with the progressive easing in the past few weeks, the frequency has decreased more and more, says Fritz Grasberger from the Old City Pharmacy.

Nevertheless, 3,200 tests were still carried out in March.

While citizens can continue to be tested in the three pharmacies, the Old City Pharmacy has a new branch.

On behalf of the district office, the team is testing refugees arriving by bus from Ukraine.

Since these would always arrive quite spontaneously, there is no fixed cycle, says Grasberger.

On average, you get called twice a week.

Grasberger also thanks his employees, who would be available for the swabs in the specially built test tent in front of the vocational school gym, regardless of the duty roster - even at the weekend if necessary.

Since a larger number of people are now accommodated in the gym itself, regular series tests would also be offered here on request.
