During the first quarter of this year, a branch of the Savings Bank in Daraa granted loans with a total value of 300 million Syrian pounds.
Branch manager Saleh Al-Saeed said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the targeted groups of savings loans are with low incomes with a ceiling of five million Syrian pounds and according to the salary, indicating that the branch, despite its lack of cadres, seeks to facilitate the process of granting loans to citizens.
He added that the branch has an office in Izraa that handles deposits, refunds, remittances and loan collection.
