The Belarusian Minister of Sports and Tourism, Sergey Kavlchuk, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Belarus Muhammad Al-Amrani the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, especially tourism and sports, and ways to enhance this cooperation.
During the meeting today, Ambassador Al-Omrani conveyed the proposals of the Ministry of Tourism to develop tourism cooperation by taking advantage of the tourism potentials of the two countries, pointing to Syria's desire to increase the tourist arrivals from Belarus to Syria, including through the establishment of joint tourism activities between the two countries.
For his part, Minister Kavlchuk expressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to increase cooperation with the Syrian side by organizing a series of joint events in the fields of sports and tourism, especially after life returned to normal in Syria, stressing that his ministry is ready to discuss the proposals of the Syrian Ministry of Tourism in preparation for putting them into practice.
