"Debris field": Man crashes into business wall with car and races into five vehicles

Apparently because of a medical problem, a 50-year-old man lost control of his car in Vaterstetten.
He crashed into five other vehicles.

Apparently because of a medical problem, a 50-year-old man lost control of his car, a Range Rover, in Vaterstetten.
He was driving on Karl-Böhm-Strasse from Marktplatz towards the B304 when he accelerated sharply at the intersection with Brunnenstrasse and left the lane.
The police report that.
First the car hit the wall of the house, then it slid along the facade and collided with five cars.

The man touched a traffic light and a tree planted on the side of the road and then the wall of a shop.
Unbraked, the car drove along the house wall and a glass facade and touched five cars parked on Karl-Böhm-Strasse.

Ultimately, the car overturned and came to rest on the roof on the sidewalk.
The driver was able to free himself and was treated by first responders.
The rescue service took him to a Munich hospital with moderate injuries.
The police spoke of a "debris field".

The police, the Vaterstetten fire brigade and two ambulances were alerted to the scene of the accident as a result of the application report.
Four cars were so badly damaged that they had to be towed away.
The road had to be completely closed at times.
The total damage to the vehicles alone is estimated at around 150,000 euros.
The damage to the house facade cannot be quantified at the moment.

According to the police, a flower pot and several traffic signs were also damaged.
“It was just luck that no other people were injured in this accident.
The sidewalk is usually very busy at this time," said a spokesman for the Poinger office
