A generation of martial arts superstar "One-Armed Swordsman" Wang Yu died this morning (5th) at the Taipei Zhenxing Hospital at the age of 80.

Wang Yu was born on March 28, 1943, formerly known as Wang Zhengquan, and became popular because of his participation in the film "One-Armed Swordsman" filmed by director Zhang Che in 1967.

Wang Yu suffered a stroke in 2011. At the end of 2015, he fainted at the airport in Thailand and was sent to the doctor. He suffered a second-degree brain stroke and underwent a second-degree brain surgery and survived the crisis of life and death.
