In Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong, where many street sleepers live, the District Office and NGOs sent staff to the gathering points of street sleepers in the district yesterday (April 4) to distribute service packs to them to encourage them to voluntarily carry out rapid detection.

The authorities said that the Sham Shui Po District Office distributed service packs to street sleepers in Sham Shui Po yesterday afternoon.

The authorities first sent the service packs to the Salvation Army office, and then, together with the person in charge of the Salvation Army's "Healthy Friends - Sham Shui Po Street Sleepers Health Support Project", visited Li Cheng Uk Playground and Tung Chau Street Park to distribute service packs to street sleepers.

The authorities stressed that Sham Shui Po District Office will continue to distribute epidemic prevention service kits to other street sleepers in the district through the assistance of the Salvation Army.

In addition, Yau Tsim Mong District Office also distributed service packs to street sleepers in the district last night.
