The Food and Health Bureau issued a mandatory testing announcement on Tuesday (5th), and 25 buildings were included in the announcement. In addition to public housing and HOS housing, there was also a private housing estate on the list, namely Tai Wai Man Lai Court 4; Sha Tin District Five buildings continued to make the list, the most in the 18 districts, including Wing Sui House in Lek Yuen Estate and Yu Zheng House in Yu Chui Court.

The other buildings included in the announcement include Block 4 of Fu Kin Garden in Tuen Mun, Block 16 of Regent Garden in Kowloon Bay and Tung Ping House, Lee Tung Estate, Ap Lei Chau, etc.


The announcement stated that anyone who has stayed in the listed buildings for more than two hours from March 23 to April 5 must undergo nucleic acid testing from Wednesday (6th) to Thursday (7th).

Block 5 of Merlot Gardens in Tuen Mun is on the list

In response to multiple positive test cases, 25 specified places were included in the mandatory testing notice today.

The buildings included in the mandatory inspection notice include 18 public housing blocks, five HOS flats and one subsidized housing block, Block 5, Merlot Gardens, Tuen Mun, as well as Block 4, Man Lai House, Tai Wai, the only private housing estate.

Among all districts, Sha Tin District has the largest number of listed buildings, with five buildings in total.

Apart from Man Lai Court, it also includes Wing Sui House, Lek Yuen Estate, Yan Yue House, Yan On Estate, Ma On Shan, Mei Ting House, Mei Tin Estate, Tai Wai, and Yu Ching House, Yu Chui Court, Shatin.

Other listed buildings also located in New Territories East include Hang Lung House, Fu Hang Estate, Tai Po, and Ching Chiu House, Ching Ho Estate, Sheung Shui.

In the west of the New Territories, three buildings in Tuen Mun and Yuen Long have also been included in the mandatory inspection notice. The buildings in Kwun Tong District included in the announcement include Lei Hing Building, Lei Yue Mun Estate, Yau Tong, as well as the HOS Housing Unit 16, Regent Garden, Kowloon Bay, and Xiao On House, Xiao Lai Court, Sau Mau Ping.

On Hong Kong Island, a total of three buildings have been included in the mandatory inspection announcement, including Hing Fung House, Hing Tung Estate, Shau Kei Wan, and Lei Tung Estate and Aberdeen Shek Pai Wan Estate, which have been on the list for two consecutive days.
