The Coordinator of Government Operations in the Occupied Territories, Major General Rassan Aliyan, announced tonight (Tuesday) that following a security assessment held today under the leadership of Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, and with the participation of Chief of Staff Major General Aviv Kochavi, Chief of Staff, Chief of Security and Deputy Chief of Staff Defense Minister Bnei Gantz approved the entry of Palestinians to the Temple Mount for Friday prayers. Women will be allowed in at all ages and children up to the age of 12 will be allowed without the need for an existing permit.

In addition, on the occasion of Ramadan, Defense Minister Ganz approved family visits to Israel for the first time for Palestinians living in Judea and Samaria, Sunday through Thursday.
It was also decided that another assessment of the situation will take place next week, headed by the Minister of Defense, at the end of which it will be decided whether to approve an extension of the steps for approving departure for family visits.
This depends on the security situation.
