The authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic reported that Ukrainian ultra-nationalists, media and psychological experts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing fabricated materials in order to accuse the Russian military and members of the Donetsk People's Police of committing atrocities in the city of Mariupol.
The People's Police of the Republic said in a statement on Telegram today that "Ukrainian extremist nationalists, who control the port of Mariupol on the coast of the Sea of Azov, have begun to destroy foreign ships, which they prevented from leaving with the aim of presenting this as the result of Russian bombing," noting that the Russian army and the republic's forces are targeting The fiery sites of the extremist nationalists by directing precise strikes on them.
According to the statement, Kyiv is ignoring official requests to evacuate six foreign ships that the ultra-nationalists had deliberately detained along with their crews by placing mines in the vicinity of the port of Mariupol, before the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
