- High property damage and three injured: This is the result of an accident involving three trucks that occurred on Monday on the A 9 near Allershausen - with significant effects on traffic.

At around 3:45 p.m., a driver (40) from Bosnia-Herzegovina, who was driving his 40-ton truck towards Berlin, had to brake to a standstill in the right-hand lane.

Behind him, a 37-ton driver from the Freising district also came to a standstill with his 16-ton truck.

As reported by the Freising traffic police, a transport driver (59) from Munich recognized this situation too late: Despite emergency braking and evasive maneuvers, he drove his 7.49-ton truck into the 16-ton truck.

Crashed into a 16-ton truck: 27-year-old seriously injured

The Munich passenger was seriously injured in the impact.

The 27-year-old man from Kirchheim was taken to the hospital by helicopter.

The accident driver and the driver of the 16-ton truck were slightly injured.

The total damage is estimated at around 75,000 euros.

During the accident recording, the police officers noticed the smell of alcohol in Munich.

A breath test showed a value of 0.6 per thousand.

The driver's license secured, ordered a blood test.

After a truck accident: long traffic jam on the A9

The rescue work was completed after around five hours.

Because most of the time only one lane was passable, traffic was backed up for up to eleven kilometers.

In addition to the rescue service, the fire brigades from Allershausen and Leonhardsbuch were on site with 36 forces.
