According to experts, the chances of success of the Freiburg appeal against the evaluation of the 1:4 home defeat against the German soccer champions FC Bayern Munich are "extraordinarily" low.
The focus of the fault in the change error of Munich lies with the referees, for which the Bundesliga club cannot be punished.
The change requested by Munich was completely legal.
Berlin - In addition, nothing decisive happened.
The Breisgauer appealed against the rating of the game on Monday because the table leaders temporarily had twelve players on the pitch in the game on Saturday.
Shortly before the end, Bayern were 3-1 up for a few seconds with twelve players before referee Christian Dingert stopped the game.
Previously, when Kingsley Coman was planned to be replaced by the Munich team manager, the wrong jersey number had been displayed.
The Frenchman probably didn't feel addressed and initially didn't leave the field after a double substitution.
However, the referees are solely responsible for the correct handling of substitutions.
The case is now the responsibility of the sports court of the German Football Association.
The fact that the Freiburg appeal was correct and legitimate.
Also to protect the interests of the club with a view to sponsors and fans, among other things.
In German football, there have already been a number of mistakes in substitutions that have successfully led to game re-evaluations.
For example, on April 15, 1995, Bayern Munich coach Giovanni Trapattoni switched on the later international Dietmar Hamann as the fourth contract amateur at Eintracht Frankfurt, but only three were allowed.
Bayern's 5-2 was annulled and the game went 2-0 to Frankfurt.

The last serious faux pas happened to VfL Wolfsburg in the 2021/2022 season.
In the first round of the cup on August 8, 2021 at Preußen Münster, coach Mark van Bommel substituted six players instead of the five allowed.
Lower Saxony won 3-1 after extra time, but Münster successfully appealed and advanced to the next round after beating Prussia 2-0.
The referee at the match was Dingert of all people.
