Favorable or unfavorable opinion, the PPs decide
The future sheet was put in place when Parcoursup replaced APB in 2018. It should make it possible to inform higher education establishments in their process of selecting and/or ranking the applications received.
Alongside the averages of the two trimesters, the rank in the class, and the comments of the teachers of each discipline, there are elements of assessment of the student's profile, on 4 criteria (method of work, autonomy, ability to investing in work, commitment and spirit of initiative).
It is the head teacher who chooses what level of validation to grant to each of these criteria, in consultation with his colleagues, from "very satisfactory", "satisfactory", "unsatisfactory", to "not demonstrated".

That's not all: for each of the wishes expressed by future students, an "opinion of the head of the establishment" must also be recorded - even if in fact it is the PPs who decide on the opinion, positive or negative, to give on every wish.

We take into account their academic results, their consistency with the wishes, and the student's motivation”.
And if the wishes do not correspond to the specialties chosen?
“It is indeed a situation that can happen, so I have the example of a student who followed the maths and SVT specialties in terminale but who had asked for law licenses, explains Claude, the PP of Bourgogne-Franche- County.
This student would have liked to follow the law specialty but it was not offered in our high school… Of course we still gave her a favorable opinion for her wishes in law!

Knowing that there is a different future sheet per wish, and on average 13 wishes per candidate, the main teachers of the terminale classes supervise these days about fifteen future sheets each, potentially between 150 and 195 opinions.
For their part, the pupils can check that the averages and the ranking ranks indicated are indeed compliant: in the event of an error (rare since the feedback of the marks on the future sheets is automated in most high schools), it is possible for them to to correct the average directly in his file, which automatically generates the sending of a notification to the school, which then only has to validate the correction - before April 7 in the evening.
It is also before the evening of April 7 that each of the wishes must have been confirmed by the candidates.
