The basic principles of her beauty routine, Charithra Chandran draws them above all from her family heritage: “I'm really lucky to have the influence of two different cultures, Indian and British.
It's great fun to combine the two together,” she says.
A common point that she shares with her character in the production of Shonda Rhimes: “My family is from India and generally the skin care that we use at home is all natural.
Also, we use the same product for many purposes and it's kind of my main beauty secret.
I love multi-tools,” she reveals.
Threading and “correcting” technique
The beauty ritual which she inherited from her cultural heritage and which she would not delegate for anything in the world?
Shaping her eyebrows.
“When I went to India this summer, my aunt organized a lesson for me to learn threading.

It gives you the sharpest, finest lines,” she says.
On the make-up side, the actress confides that she learned to master the brushes through “trials” and “errors”, by testing what “worked” or not on the shape of her face.

“It's the Indian girl in me talking!
I'm an eyeliner girl.
It's my number 1 product,” she says, finishing her beauty treatment with a little concealer and a layer of mascara.
