Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian reiterated his country's position on reaching a good and sustainable agreement during the Vienna negotiations between Iran and the Four Plus One Group, provided that the United States of America has a real vision.
"Despite some of the main outstanding issues between Iran and America, consultations are taking place with the European Union's chief negotiator in this regard," the Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Abdullahian as saying during phone talks with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
With regard to the crisis in Ukraine, Abdullahian stressed the need to focus on a political solution, as it is the only way to end this crisis.
For his part, the Hungarian Foreign Minister expressed his country's aspiration that the parties in the Vienna negotiations would adopt positive positions in order to reach an agreement, noting Iran's constructive and aiming role in achieving the final agreement.
Szijjarto added that his country's government is committed, within the framework of its foreign policy, to developing bilateral relations with Iran and calls for the necessity of implementing the documents signed between Hungary and Iran.
