Oberammergau – After it became clear that the Passion Play could take place due to the easing of the corona measures, rehearsals on the stage were intensified again.
Time is running out, because the premiere game will take place on May 14th.
Then the passion play is performed five times a week on the large Oberammergau stage.
On Saturday evening the scenes of the Stations of the Cross and the Crucifixion were on the rehearsal schedule.
Before it started, all actors had to take a quick test.
Game director Christian Stückl is in his element again.
Nothing is left of his heart attack a few weeks ago, except that he still keeps his hands off the harmful fags.
The artistic excellence that Stückl brings to the table is enormous.
The perfect image has to fit, everyone has to be positioned well on the stage.
To better illustrate the scene, he also put the cross on his own shoulders and gave instructions.
Finally, the crucifixion was rehearsed, "A crucifixion without a hammer is not a crucifixion, how can one nail without a hammer," said Christian Stückl during the rehearsal when there was simply no hammer ready.
On the cross, the Jesus actor Frederik Mayet.
