On "Showtime of my Life" Sonya Kraus spoke openly about her breast cancer diagnosis for the first time.

For some time she has even been undergoing chemotherapy.

Now the presenter shows herself on Instagram without a wig: there is hardly anything to be seen of her own hair.

A few months ago, Sonya Kraus (48) received the surprising diagnosis: breast cancer.

The 48-year-old is currently undergoing chemotherapy and regularly updates her fans on Instagram about her current state of health.

In an Instagram video, the TV presenter now shows herself without a wig and reveals how she is coping with her hair loss.

Sonya Kraus does not let severe hair loss get her down

Although a cooling cap is supposed to save a lot of hair from falling out during chemotherapy, only about 20 percent of her own hair is now left, reports Sonya Kraus on Instagram.

The fact that the moderator is losing more and more hair every day doesn't seem to bother her too much: "It's getting bald upstairs, but what the heck!

You can't let that get you down.” The pretty blonde has bought a lot of human hair wigs to cover up her hair loss.

"Everyone wants to know: What about your hair?

Well, there's not much left, but it doesn't matter, because I love my wigs!" Sonya Kraus writes under her video.

Not only have the wigs given her better self-esteem during this difficult time, they also make early morning styling much quicker: “It only takes 20 seconds.

Take the wig, put it on, that's it," said the 48-year-old.

Meanwhile, Sonya Kraus has developed a true love for her wigs.

"Why didn't I think of it earlier, it saves so much time, it's easy on your own hair," the moderator asks herself.

With constantly changing hairstyles, she can reinvent herself every time.

A few months ago, Sonya Kraus spoke for the first time about her cancer diagnosis on the Vox show “Showtime of my Life”.

Due to a tumor in her breast, the presenter had both breasts removed first, in order to have them rebuilt later.

In the TV show, she proudly presented the result of her surgery.
