The wave of terror in Israel never ends: in the middle of Tel Aviv, an assassin opens fire on visitors to a pub.
Security forces are feverishly searching for the perpetrator.
At least two people were killed in an attack in the center of the Israeli coastal city of Tel Aviv on Thursday evening, according to paramedics.
According to the information, around ten other people suffered gunshot wounds, one was in mortal danger.
An assassin shot at patrons of a pub on busy Dizengoff Street, police said.
Hundreds of security forces were looking for the perpetrator, the statement said.
The police called on residents not to leave their homes.
According to media reports, the security forces combed the surrounding buildings.
The television reported that public transport throughout the city center had been completely stopped.
Sirens could be heard again and again in the heart of the Mediterranean city, and a police helicopter circled the area.
US Ambassador Tom Nides tweeted that he was "appalled to see another cowardly terrorist attack on innocent civilians, this time in Tel Aviv."
He demanded: "This must stop!"
