This is the plenary session of the Madrid Assembly, although it looks like the seat of a court.
The opposition uses this Thursday's session to remind the regional president of all the controversies surrounding the Madrid PP for its management of the pandemic: the regional government contract that allowed the conservative leader's brother to earn more than 55,000 euros;
the agreement of the City Council that provided a commission of six million euros to two intermediaries, who bought luxury cars, houses or a yacht with it;
the case of the businessman who went from billing 80,000 euros with his wine business to more than 26 million a year for providing masks or tests;
or the appointment for a conciliation act between CC OO and the president for questioning the professionalism of the workers of the health centers.
Speaking of this last matter,

A court in Madrid cites Ayuso for questioning the professionalism of primary care doctors
The president of Madrid avoids defending José Luis Martínez-Almeida and keeps a prudent silence about the controversy surrounding the municipal contract, already judicialized.
Not a word about luxury watches.
None of the Ferraris.
Less than vip hotels.
I have enough with mine, Ayuso must think, because the opposition corners her again, question after question about her brother's contract.
But not only that.
The representatives of Más Madrid, PSOE and Podemos try to draw a line between the
Púnica, Gürtel and Lezo
cases and the investigations opened by the pandemic contracts.
They seek to dissect a supposed
modus operandi
, which they understand to be endemic to the PP.
And accuse, consequently, the entire organization, and with it Ayuso, under the argument that the predictable thing is that the conservative leader ends up presiding over the PP in Madrid at the end of May.
“He comes from a congress in which the leader of his party has been charged for pulling the blanket, and for pointing out obvious irregularities about the Ayuso toads,” starts Alejandra Jacinto, from Podemos.
“Even the European institutions are concerned that his clan has reached into the box again.
I am afraid that you will have to share the merit with Mr. Almeida, because what a shame, ”she adds.
"Send a
whastsapp
to your brother and tell him that hiding is done only by the guilty," he concludes, referring to the fact that this health commercial has not been located to deliver the request to appear before the commission that investigates whether the PP used media municipal authorities to investigate a contract with the Community in which he participated (1.5 million euros to bring masks).
"I always show my face and answer all the questions, all of them, and in the meantime you accumulate disappointments," says Juan Lobato, the spokesman for the PSOE, who once again, like every week, reminds him of the ten questions about the agreement that he has not answered, and that once again, like every week, goes unanswered.
"Almeida's scandal is also his," argues Mónica García, from Más Madrid.
"There are no prosecutors in the world to cope with all their crime," she adds, referring to the PP.
And she finishes off: “They have put on their boots in the midst of a pandemic.
Europe wonders how it is possible that they have dedicated the money, instead of saving lives, to giving bites.
They have never intended to stop stealing.
The alibi is freedom.
Ayuso attends undaunted to the fine rain of accusations.
She has long since specialized in turning a deaf ear.
More on days like this Thursday, to which she arrives knowing that the PSOE has removed a deputy (Carmen López) from all her positions for the simple fact of being the mother of a woman accused of defrauding UGT of two million euros.
An argument to respond and try to make everyone equal.
“I am not going to end up in jail, I am not going to go to any court, and I am not judged for anything, because I have done absolutely nothing,” she says about the conciliation act with CC OO to which she has been summoned by a judge, who will not go.
"You have to put up with everything for parliamentary inviolability, but any of their accusations, outside (in the street), would be the subject of a lawsuit," she says.
"Do you know how many the Madrid left has already been against me during the almost three years that I have been president of Madrid?" She asks.
"Eighteen!
Eighteen failures!” she adds.
"The main measure to fight corruption is, democratically, through the ballot box, to keep them out of the institutions," he snaps at another time to Podemos.
And to the PSOE, he says, about deputy López: “I would like you to judge me for what I do, which is something that you are not doing, not even with your own partner, whom you are judging for being the mother of.
It is true that in surveillance of hiring it did not seem the most shower, but what an investigation you have carried out”.
Díaz Ayuso is entrenched in the defense of his management.
Brick by brick, he builds his strength by remembering cases of corruption and controversies that have affected his opponents.
He does not stop to comment on what is happening at City Hall.
Almeida is at risk of burning in the controversy over the contract with six million in commissions, and in the PP right now there is no firefighter willing to come to his aid to put out the fire.
