The mystery of the mysterious coin find that a Schöngeisinger (70) made in Breitbrunn am Ammersee in March has been solved.

District/Herrsching – As reported by the police, the coins, medals and brooches belong to a passionate collector who has already passed away.

Burglars had stolen them from his house, which is in the immediate vicinity of the site.

Then they put their loot next to a hiking trail – for pickup, as the police suspect.

It was there that the 70-year-old Schöngeisinger discovered the two plastic bags filled with gold and silver coins, medals and brooches.

He took her to the police.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)

Now the valuables could be returned to their rightful owner.

However, the 73-year-old son of the deceased collector had not even noticed the theft.

There is still no trace of the perpetrators.

The Fürstenfeldbruck police will take relevant information on the phone number (0 81 41) 61 20.
