Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will have new neighbors as Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have sold their home in Montecito.

Montecito – A change is imminent in the Sussexes' celebrity neighborhood.

Presenter Ellen DeGeneres (64) and her wife Portia de Rossi (49) have sold their villa for $ 13.5 million (12.4 million euros) and are now looking for a new home.

It is already known who will be the new neighbor of Harry's family.

There are always rumors that Duchess Meghan (40) and Prince Harry (37) also want to sell their 15 million dollar property (the equivalent of around 13.5 million euros).

But the villa, just 10 minutes' drive from the former royals, has found a new buyer in Soren Urry, a managing partner of a real estate development company.

Ellen and Portia can look forward to a handsome prize of 1.5 million dollars (1.4 million euros).

The couple have been buying real estate in the popular seaside town just outside of Santa Barbara for several years.

The popular TV presenter is a fan of moving houses and has reportedly bought and sold more than 20 over the past 20 years.

Not an option for the Sussexes, who want to create a cozy nest with their two children, Archie (2) and Lilibet (10 months).

The property offers all kinds of amenities.

The luxurious residence has nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a private gym, a huge garden with a chicken coop and a private tennis court.

Recently, however, reports have been circulating that Meghan and Harry are looking for a new home.

The villa, which they bought from a Russian entrepreneur, is said to be a real "horror house" with a horrifying past.

In addition, a terrible stench from a nearby salt marsh is said to put off staying outdoors.

According to “Mirror”, there is also around $130,000 in municipal taxes due annually.*

Prince Harry's brother Prince William (39) is also currently looking for an apartment.

The family of five should move to Windsor* this summer to be closer to Queen Elizabeth II (95) and to keep an eye on Prince Andrew (62).
