Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian called on the United States to adopt a realistic approach in the Vienna negotiations to revive the nuclear agreement.
During a phone call today with his Serbian counterpart Nikola Slakovic, Abdullahian pointed out Iran's determination to reach a good, strong and sustainable agreement, saying that "America should take a realistic approach instead of making additional demands, slowing down and creating obstacles."
For his part, Slakovic expressed his hope that the Vienna negotiations would reach the necessary result quickly.
In a related context, the Iranian (IRNA) news agency reported details of the agreement on transferring seven billion dollars of frozen Iranian currencies, indicating that it provides for sending the frozen funds to Iranian accounts via bank transfer within a few weeks.
An informed Iranian source had announced yesterday the release of a large part of Iran's financial assets frozen in European banks.
