The royal chapel of the Palace of Versailles (Yvelines) welcomes this Friday evening the orchestra of the Royal Opera for a charity concert for the benefit of the Ukrainian people.
This performance will take place from 8 p.m.
For the occasion, three musicians from Ukraine will be part of the orchestra, including a violinist from Odessa, a port city on the Black Sea.
This event is organized on the initiative of the departmental council of Yvelines and the Palace of Versailles.
The community had notably decided to accommodate, from the start of the conflict with Russia, eight Ukrainian tourists who could not return home, at the Oxygen Factory in Les Mureaux.
Eight young people including the three soloists who will play this Friday evening.
The Ukrainian anthem played at the end of the concert
The idea for this concert was born in early March from a meeting between these Ukrainians and the president (LR) of the department, Pierre Bédier.
Which then agreed with Catherine Pgard, the president of the Palace of Versailles, to organize this event.
The Ukrainian anthem will be played at the end of the evening, after performances by Mozart, Bach and Haydn.
Prices: 100 euros for the concert, 200 euros with the cocktail, a tax reduction of 66% reduces the prices to 44 and 88 euros.
The sums will be donated to La Fondation de France.
