The fairytale forest Isartal used the winter break: the season starts on Saturday.
The amusement park has a lot of pretty things and there is a novelty.
Wolfratshausen - Over 20 fairy tales and more than 260 moving figures: The fairy tale forest Isartal opens its doors again this Saturday, April 9th.
Anyone who thinks that the operators Daniel and Franziska Diessl had the winter off is wrong.

"We used the time for repair work and security checks," says Daniel Diessl.
The vintage train has been completely renovated.
"The cars were painted and got new engines." The geese and chickens of the "Huberhof" were on the road.
"We sent them to the manufacturer and had them cleaned up again," explains Diessl.
Especially the figures that stood close to the fence lost feathers from being stroked by the onlookers.

In addition, the operators used the winter to develop new ideas – which is not that easy.
"You always have to think from two perspectives," says Daniel Diessl, pointing to a scene in Sleeping Beauty.
Everything is easy to see from an adult perspective: the three figures slightly from above, pots and pans on the wall, the finished bread and the cat lying on the shelf at the top.
The situation is different when a small child is standing in front of it: the king is about his size, so he is looking directly at him, while only the tail of the cat on the shelf can be seen.
"So we design everything so that every visitor gets something out of it."

The best example of this will be the fairy tale depiction of Frau Holle - even if the completion is delayed a little due to delivery problems.
"We want our little visitors to experience the fairy tales with all their senses," explains the boss.
“They should see, smell, feel, hear.” When Mother Holle snows, however, it won't be real snowflakes that fall on the forest floor in Wolfratshausen.
"That would require too much energy," emphasizes Daniel Diessl.
So something similar will trickle down, "completely safe for the children and the environment," as his wife emphasizes.

Both attach importance to presenting the fairy tales in a traditional way.
"Large chains of lights and flashing odds and ends - we're not that," stresses Franziska Diessl.
She is looking forward to an opening without a mask requirement.
"It's quite a different thing to see the kids really and truly laugh."
