Queen Elizabeth gets her own "Corgi cake" for the throne anniversary

In Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee year, all of England is upside down.

A supermarket chain has come up with a real highlight and is now even selling a "Corgi cake".  

London – Queen Elizabeth (95) is celebrating a historic anniversary this year.

The monarch has had a firm grip on the British throne for 70 years – longer than any other head of state before her.

Reason enough for all Britons to get into a boisterous party mood.

Numerous associations, companies and companies come up with specials to pay tribute to the British Queen in a special way.

So does the supermarket chain Morrisons.

Queen Elizabeth gets her own "Corgi cake" for the throne anniversary

In the great jubilee year 2022, Queen Elizabeth will be celebrated and cheered throughout Great Britain and all Commonwealth countries.

The actual festivities take place from June 2nd to 5th.

Among other things, a big concert is planned, where superstars of the international music scene will perform.

There are also several parades and celebrations in and around London.

Various associations, initiatives and companies have already come up with specials in honor of the Queen.

For example, a photo of the 95-year-old graces the cover of British Vogue for the first time.

The supermarket chain Morrisons has also considered a campaign to mark the platinum anniversary.

In the branches of the grocer there will soon be a "Corgi cake" to buy!

On the occasion of her platinum anniversary, Queen Elizabeth is honored with a very special cake (symbol image).

Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee: Literally a sugar-sweet four-legged friend

Corgis have always played an important role in Queen Elizabeth's life.

She received her first Corgi in 1933 and has reportedly owned more than 30 dogs of the breed since ascending the throne.

Reason enough for Morrisons not to neglect the Queen's favorite animals in the centenary year.

The supermarket chain therefore recently presented its own "Corgi Cake" - a chocolate cake with sprinkles in the British national colors, a small Union Jack crown and a cute dog face.

The cake is also available in a cute "caterpillar version".

Almost too pretty to cut!

By the way, the sweet four-legged friend also has a name, Morrisons customers could submit their suggestions.

“We had a lot of fun coming up with names for the cake.

But I think Clarence, as our customers decided in the end, is a fitting recognition,” quoted “Metro” a company employee.

Clarence will be available in all Morrisons stores from the end of May, priced at £6.

The British royal family will certainly get their Clarence for free.
