Moscow-Sana
Russia announced the expulsion of two employees of the Bulgarian Embassy in Moscow in response to a similar measure previously taken by the Bulgarian government.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that it summoned the Chargé d'Affairs of the Bulgarian Embassy in Moscow and handed him a note stating that two embassy employees were declared persona non grata.
"This action comes in response to the Bulgarian side's unjustified decision in March to declare two diplomats from the staff of the Russian embassy in Sofia persona non grata," the foreign ministry added.
