Update from April 7, 10:58 p.m .:
Some hurricane-like gusts of wind pushed a 400-meter-long container ship off the quay on the Jade near Wilhelmshaven.
According to the water police, the mooring lines were broken.
Several tugboats were alerted and maneuvered the ship back to the pier.
In Bremerhaven, the fire brigade was called to a sinking container ship.
The crew had called for help because of a swell and called at the Geestevorhafen.
Emergency responders stabilized the ship with a variety of pumps.
The Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) provided support with a special pump and installed an oil boom as a precaution.

Storm low “Nasim” has moved over Baden-Württemberg with heavy rain and hail.
On the peaks of the Black Forest, the wind blew with gusts of up to 140 kilometers per hour, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD).
The fire brigade went on numerous missions.
In Stuttgart, the fire brigade said it had to secure a roof after it had been damaged by the storm and bricks had come loose.
In Biberach, the storm affected a ventilation system in the hospital.

According to Deutsche Bahn, travelers had to be prepared for restrictions and train cancellations in train traffic.
Trees fell on tracks on the routes between Engen (Konstanz district) and Tuttlingen and between Freiburg and Titisee (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district).

The weather in many places in Germany is stormy, changeable and cold these days – but improvement is in sight: Spring will return next week.
But until then, there will be a few gusts of wind whistling over house roofs and through trees, it will rain widely, and even in the lowlands it will snow in some places.
A strong low-pressure system determined the weather in Bavaria on Thursday, as a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) explained.
The associated cold front should move in in the afternoon and reach the Alps at night.
"This is a narrow, very intense strip, there is definitely occasional heavy rain, and isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out." According to the forecast, it will rain almost everywhere, and a heavy rain warning has even been issued for the Allgäu.
The cold front could also bring heavy gusts of wind at around 100 kilometers per hour, even in the lowlands, it said.
Hurricane gusts are likely in the mountains, and even hurricane gusts on higher Alpine peaks.
When the cold front has passed, the storm will calm down, but individual gusts can still be strong.
And just a few hours later, the next low-pressure system pulls in from France.
"That will keep us busy again on Friday with very unstable weather and sometimes longer and heavier rainfall," explained the DWD expert.
Erfurt closes cemeteries as a precaution

Due to the current weather conditions, the city of Erfurt ordered the cemeteries to be closed on Thursday as a precaution.
"There is a risk that branches or treetops will break off in strong gusts of wind and that people will be injured," the city announced.
