In a new violation of international legitimacy resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlements and demand their cessation, the Israeli occupation authorities announced a plan to establish 4,000 settlement units in separate areas of the West Bank.

The National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization stated in a report today published on its website that the new settlement units will be built on areas of Palestinian lands in the cities of occupied Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Salfit, Nablus and Bethlehem, noting that the occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is in defiance He traveled to the international community and confirmed in his statements a few days ago that settlement operations in the West Bank will continue to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 line.

The occupation authorities also closed 28 Palestinian institutions, associations and bodies in Jerusalem, foremost of which is the Orient House and the Prisoner's Club.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces are digging a new tunnel 130 meters from the southeastern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Ein Silwan complex, with a length of 533 meters and a depth of 40 meters, indicating that the occupation had opened 26 tunnels in the area extending from the complex below Ein Silwan towards Al-Aqsa and the Old City and stole antiquities Which it contains to implement his plan to erase the Arab and Islamic identity of the city of Jerusalem and Judaize it.

The report stated that the occupation forces razed areas of Palestinian lands in the village of Al-Sawiya, south of Nablus, and prevented farmers from accessing their lands in the town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya, while notifying the demolition of two houses in the towns of Al-Isawiya in Jerusalem and Fasayel in Jericho.

The report indicated that the settlers continue their attacks under the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the center of Hebron and the towns of Birin and Al-Tawani in the south, and attacked Palestinian homes and properties. A new settlement outpost in the northern Jordan Valley threatens to close large areas of pastures to Palestinian livestock keepers.

The report stated that the settlers uprooted 300 perennial olive trees and swept areas of the lands of the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, to expand a settlement built on them, and built settlement roads on several hills in Qusra, pointing out that this aggression comes within the plans of the occupation to control the hills near the settlements and isolate Palestinian villages from each other.
