However, ordinary citizens still have to wait until April 21 before they are expected to use the sports venues, so Huo Qigang said that he still has to "complain" about the policy.
He said: "(April 21) all venues must be opened, and tennis courts should be opened, because this is a 'non-contact individual sport'. But the government must issue guidelines as soon as possible to tell everyone what will be open at each stage ( How many people should be allowed in each place? For example, fitness instructors, interest classes, etc., must be expected to accept the number of students, if the opening is announced suddenly, it will be difficult to prepare.”
Fok Qigang hopes that the government can announce the guidelines and details of reopening sports venues as soon as possible so that the industry can be prepared.
