Activists from a number of right-wing organizations are protesting tonight (Saturday) in Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv, following the deadly attack on Thursday evening.
MK Itamar Ben Gvir (Religious Zionism) and the Shadow clashed with left-wing activists staging a counter-demonstration.
Activists of "Jewish Power", the "If You Will" movement and other organizations held a procession on Ben-Gurion Boulevard under the message: The "Peace Now" movement organized a counter-demonstration entitled "
Expelling
the Fascist-Kahanists from Tel Aviv." The movement's statement reads: Their racist and hate-saturated streets in Tel Aviv - a city of tolerance, equality and freedom.
The perpetrators and propagators of hatred on the right must fight.
That is why we will be stationed in Tel Aviv tonight, because only together will we keep this darkness away from us. "
