Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed today, during a telephone conversation, the situation in Karabakh and bilateral relations between the two countries.
The press service of the Armenian Cabinet said that during the conversation, issues of economic cooperation were touched upon, as the two sides agreed to discuss this agenda in detail during Pashinyan's official visit to Russia on April 19.
She added that the Prime Minister of Armenia also discussed with the Russian President the results of his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Council President Charles Michel on April 6 in Brussels. The latest developments in the situation in the Karabakh region were also discussed, where Pashinyan expressed expectations
The Armenian side urges the Russian peacekeeping forces to take concrete steps for the withdrawal of Azerbaijani units from the areas they have recently incurred.
