According to a senior source in the West, Putin has appointed General Alexander Dvornikov, who commanded forces in Syria, to lead the attack in Donbas. The country

Russian President Vladimir Putin is unhappy with the performance of his army in Ukraine and has appointed a new commander to lead the faltering Russian offensive, a senior Western source told the British Broadcasting Authority.

The source claimed that the Russian president appointed General Alexander Dvornikov, who commanded the Russian Expeditionary Force in Syria during the country's civil war, to command all the forces in Ukraine and to curb the Russian attack taking place in Donbas, the country's eastern part of the country.

"There has been poor coordination and poor performance of the Russian command in the fighting so far. The elected commander has extensive experience thanks to the fighting in Syria and can be expected to succeed in raising the level of command and operation of the Russian army," the source told the British network.

"If Russia fails to change its tactics and use the tools at its disposal more effectively, if it fails to do so, it is very difficult to see how they will be able to achieve, even limited ones, within the times set by the Kremlin," the expert added.

The remarks come after Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov admitted for the first time since the beginning of the Russian invasion that the Russian military had suffered "significant losses" and that the situation in Ukraine was "tragic".

More horrors are exposed

Along with the continued military preparations for another Russian sweep, massacres and atrocities committed by the Russian military continue to be exposed.

In the city of Kramtorsk, the death toll from the missile attack on the train station rose to 53, including six children.

Another 86 people are hospitalized in the city after being injured in the attack.

Russian media have denied allegations that the Russian military carried out the attack, claiming that it was a provocation carried out by the Ukrainian army.

Some of the media claimed that the missiles, the "Tuchka Yu", were not active in the service of the Russian army at all.

But this claim became clear when the lies of the settlement of this weapon system were documented for use by the Russian army in the territory of Ukraine.

Blood stains everywhere.

In addition, the mayor of the city of Kiev, Vadim Tucker, who was held for a relatively short time by the Russian army west of the capital Kyiv, announced that 132 bodies of the city’s citizens who had been shot were found in its territory.

The mayor added that forty percent of the city's residential buildings were damaged by Russian fire.

The mayor of the city of Chernihiv, located northeast of the capital Kyiv, announced that 700 civilians were killed in the Russian army bombing of the city, after it was almost cut off during the Russian invasion of the country and shelled heavily.
