With the approval of the Government of Cuba, the Cuban Boxing Federation, chaired by Alberto Puig, reached an agreement with the Mexican promoter Golden Ring, so that boxers from the island can be represented by this company and participate in fights professionals next May in Mexico.
With this agreement, the best Cuban boxers are expected to participate in at least four events in the remainder of 2022 in six-round bouts.
