The Magistrate's Court in Haifa extended this weekend (Friday) for the second time, by five days, until Wednesday, the detention of Tom Caspi, a 35-year-old high-tech man suspected of committing indecent acts on a large number of children.
Caspi, originally from Ramat Gan and in recent years living in a moshav in the Galilee, was never questioned by the police until this affair and has no criminal record.
Caspi is suspected that over the past few years until recently he has committed indecent acts on a large number of boys, girls and even toddlers, all aged 11-2 from the North, while in charge of them.
Caspi is suspected of raping some of the girls.
Police say there are at least 11 victims, and even believe there are more.

The investigation into the case began after two of the girls approached their relatives and said that Caspi had asked them to "make him comfortable."
The family members were interested in what it was all about, and the girls told about the acts that Caspi allegedly suspected of asking them to do.
Caspi then admitted to his actions by texting with one of the girls' coaches.
The mother complained to the police and an Maalot investigation was opened, combined with a child investigator from the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
During the interrogation Caspi Caspi was arrested and as far as is known even confessed.
But police have found more girls who are suspected to have also been Caspi's victims, and believe there may be more.
Also, the trailer in which he used to roam and where he occasionally lived was seized by investigators at the Maalot station in the Northern District of the police.
Now, the police are also seeking the help of the public for the purpose of locating more victims who may have been harmed by it.
Anyone who knows anything about additional cases or can help with more information can call Maalot Police 049578444 or the 100 hotlines at all police stations around the country.
