Occupied Jerusalem-SANA

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation against the city of Jenin in the West Bank is part of its plan to fragment the land of the State of Palestine and turn it into isolated areas.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry stated that the occupation authorities are continuing to consolidate the land of the State of Palestine into isolated and completely separated areas to facilitate control and stifle them and expand settlement operations, indicating that the occupation imposes a siege on the city of Jenin similar to the unjust siege it imposes on the Gaza Strip. His forces stormed the city, besieging it with checkpoints to isolate it from its Palestinian surroundings, strangling it economically, and controlling those who enter or leave it.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the atrocities committed by the occupation target Palestinians wherever they are, and the picture of the woman who was shot dead by the occupation forces today in Husan, west of Bethlehem, and was documented by Palestine TV with audio and video, is another proof of the brutality of the occupation, which calls for urgent international action to stop the Israeli escalation.
