The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, stressed the need to ensure the sustainable and tangible economic interests of the Iranian people in the nuclear negotiations.
IRNA quoted Qalibaf as saying that the amazing developments that the nuclear industry is proud of in recent years, which are due to the efforts of scientists, especially nuclear martyrs, in various fields are the production of high-tech radioactive drugs and the development of defense-related technologies.
He referred to the ratification by the Eleventh Council of the Strategic Action Law to play its role in removing obstacles to progress and enhancing scientific achievements in this field, pointing out the need to note that the country's nuclear progress represents a strong support for ensuring the economic interests of the Iranian people.
